Dates: August 2017 - June 2018

I worked with three other engineering students to designed and implemented improvements for the soil sampling science module to allow the rover to collect and seal samples in a sterile container and take scientific measurements without physical human intervention.
​
I led a team of seven students from multiple disciplines (Mechanical Engineering, Geology and Environmental Science) to be the highest scoring sub team for BYU, scoring a 95.65 out of 100 in the science cache task.
